Per DNP (radio) facebook page (102.3 in Dover):  Dave as a young guy in 1984 (Dave was just 25) on WBBM FM "B96" Chicago. Chicago is one of the United States' top 3 radio markets. Dave was not only an on-air personality, he became a music director, then program director, then moved into general manager (which is VERY difficult to get to that position from anything other than sales).. and even national program director for all of CBS radio's HD initiative!    

Per All Access website:  Noted for breaking ratings records at WNCI/COLUMBUS, ROBBINS (radio name) went on to program in PHOENIX, ST. LOUIS and was one of the original B96/CHICAGO air talents under MIKE JOSEPH ... later he became a GM with CBS RADIO in CHICAGO and ORLANDO, where he ended his radio career a few years back.
